The headline of this post is from one of the episodes of the new online series I have been lucky enough to be a part of. It is being developed under the working title of No Sugar Added. We have been filming instances from real life for the series, and we managed to capture our “10% off New Year’s” in which we decided to run down the street shouting “Crappy new year!” I am working on new material for the new album, but I have no clue how much of my recent work will actual make it down the funnel and onto the finished product. Sorry about the delay in updates; it has been a crazy few weeks. A few new film proposals have been put on the table for projects I am developing, such as In Wonderland, a dramatic, fact-based look at a year in the life of an addict struggling to resurface. I promise to post new goodies (be they video or music) soon! I don’t think I tell you enough how incredibly grateful I am to have your support. Thank you.

Hi there! I am hard at work on my numerous film projects, the new album project, and designing the new site.  Where did the year go? I am so not ready for it to be Christmas yet. The interview I did a few months ago might go live soon at Indie x Land. I will let you know as soon as I know exactly when Annie will be posting the article to her site. It’s a bit early, but I’m already throwing around names for the new album project. I’m thinking something along the lines of “Perfection in Disorder” – Too emo???

Also, the Devolution film project is slowly rolling forward. Can’t say the same for Some Kind Of Miracle. That seems to be on a temporary stand-still, but I am hopeful it will come to fruition when its ready (a little existentialism never hurt anyone).

with Horror Films. I just watched the original House on Haunted Hill… Vincent Price still rocks my mis-matched socks. I am official one month into production of Devolution, and things are progressing well – we added another producer to the project.

The EP is almost finished (yay!) – I’m just having some perfectionista tendencies and its obnoxious to even myself, so I can’t imagine how it is for everyone else. Anyway, it is supposed to be due out 11/10, so watch out

I have written a new, super secret, special song for someone who knows not of my existence. It’s fabulous (not the song so much as the feeling). Perhaps one day it will make it on an album or something, and this individual will have special “thank you” credit.

Anyway, out of my creepy, cryptic speak… I may be hitting the Big Apple sooner than I anticipated. I may be making a pre-Christmas excursion to my adopted hometown (♥). I probably won’t be doing any work on this trip, but it will be exciting nonetheless. Who knows? Maybe I’ll do a show or two since I’ll be in town anyway.

Also, I am considering a short vacay in Toronto this coming Spring — good idea?

I am working on a special song right now… top secret. The new album is getting off to a slow, not-so-smooth start. As I mentioned before, it’s my current back-burner project. I have switched into actor mode for the winter. I am still finishing the new EP (it’s almost ready, I swear) and my film project, Devolution, is slowly but surely headed toward a year-end release.

I am quite convinced I have broken a meta-tarsal or two in my left foot. It kills. I will keep my complaining to a minimum because many others are undergoing much worse. Meanwhile, I have gone brunette again for a film project. Don’t think I like it much, but what can you do?

I am working on a video blog at the moment, hopefully it will make its way onto the site someday.

You guys are awesome, enough said. But I shall continue… I cannot express how amazing it feels to have your own songs rise up thee charts. Having had five cover tracks reach #1 does not lessen the excitement a bit. Finally, my words… my music is reaching more people. I love the freedom to share my hopes, dreams, and despair with other people. Thanks for your amazingness <3

As you can see, the new site is up. I was tired of the beach theme, even though it goes with the album art. I have put the second novel on the back burner for a while, as I only have about 4 quarters left in my undergraduate career. I am focusing on that instead. I have been having many song ideas flow from nowhere, so I have already started working on potential material for a follow-up EP or album. I know, crazy, right? I am very prolific with my songwriting, it is just discerning the gold from the garbage that is the trick for me. I have started my own business, so that is taking up much of my time. Hopefully, my hard work will pay off… somehow.
